About the Role
We are looking to add a career-minded, thoughtful, compassionate bilingual (English/Spanish) receptionist with excellent communication skills. Our focus is client service. We want staff that reflects our desire to care for pets like they do members of their own family.
The receptionist fully assists in the different clinics’ areas, to maintain and improve the quality of care given to the patients and to aid the doctors in achieving the greatest efficiency.
The receptionist assists in multiple tasks from appointments, to providing information for patients, including information on dental and surgical procedures, pre and post-operative patient care, vaccinations, laboratory testing, euthanasia, patient nursing care, as well as client education, accurately entering service charges into client processing database, creating and presenting financial options and estimates, preparing medications and inventory.
Requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills with past experience in customer service.
Must be bilingual, high proficiency in English & Spanish.
Willingness and ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
Proactive and able to work independently, with the willingness and ability to work within a team.
Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
The ability to build relationships among a diverse group of staff.
Prior experience in a receptionist role or a related field.
Candidate must pass a state background check.
Must be flexible, dependable, and be a team player.
